In addition to video interviews, CVing has developed extra features that allow recruiters to access more detailed and specific information, enabling them to make more effective decisions.
Training:
Designed for candidates, this feature allows them to take practice interviews to prepare for the real thing and get comfortable with the new tool. The questions generated are random and are partly selected from those submitted by recruiters already using CVing;
CV:
Candidates or recruiters can attach a CV to complete the application;
Personality Type:
The OEJTS test, based on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of psychological types, consists of 39 questions answered by moving a slider. It provides insights into personality, suitable career paths, and interpersonal dynamics. A recent survey by the McQuaig Institute highlighted that a lack of aptitude and personality mismatches are the leading causes of new-hire failure (accounting for 53% of cases), making this test a valuable support tool. It is currently used by 85% of recruiters in the USA. Users can choose whether or not to share their test results, though recruiters can explicitly request them from the candidate with a single click.
Radar:
A feature that allows candidates to view public recruitment campaigns from nearby companies and submit applications.
Candidates can select the radar's search radius to locate job openings; this choice provides valuable information regarding the distance a candidate considers acceptable or is willing to relocate for. Searches can also be conducted by directly entering a specific location or company of interest.
Spontaneous applications follow the same format as the "Pending Interview"—an on-demand video interview featuring five questions set by the recruiter. The "radar" multiplies the number of applications a recruiter receives, while still utilizing the video-on-demand format and the accompanying suite of features (personality tests, notes, CVs).
