The personality test adopted by CVing is of the OEJTS (Open Extended Jungian Type Scales) type. It is inspired by the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator and is based on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of psychological types.
It is built on the balance of four dichotomies: extraversion and introversion, sensing and intuition, thinking and feeling, judging and perceiving. From the combinations of these dimensions, 16 personality types emerge.
In line with the original intent of researchers Myers and Briggs, these typologies are now often used to provide indicative interpretations of an individual’s aptitude for certain professional profiles.
CVing presents a derived OEJTS-based test consisting of 39 questions, each with two options selected along a gradient. The results are presented as a brief description of the user’s professional profile, along with an indication of the occupations that best align with their aptitudes.
